Thank you for your interest in taking part in our survey – here is some further information about data protection and your rights

As explained in the introduction, this survey aimed to help us better understand the views of those working with livestock on a daily basis across the UK, especially in terms of diseases and conditions which are the greatest challenges to our industry at both a national level and a flock and herd level.

This survey is intended to be completed anonymously.

However, we do offer the opportunity for participants to i) enter a prize draw to win one of three farmhouse hampers worth £50, and ii) receive our monthly newsletter and ad hoc information. For both of these, contact information is required.

If you provide contact details for one or both of these purposes, we confirm:

  1. We will not associate your name or contact details with your survey responses
  2. We will not pass on your details to any third party
  3. We will not retain any of your contact information after the prize has been drawn and the winners notified, unless you have opted to be added to our mailing list
  4. We will only store your name and email address on a secure database linked to our newsletter 5) We will retain your contact details until you request via contacting contact@ruminanthw.org.uk that we delete them from our records, or Ruminant Health & Welfare is terminated as an organisation, at which point all contact data will be permanently deleted. Please note – unsubscribing from the newsletter will not delete your record. At any point you can request to know what data of yours we hold by contacting contact@ruminanthw.org.uk.
