This briefing is chaired by the National Beef Association (NBA) and organised as part of the Battle Bluetongue campaign developed by the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) and Ruminant Health & Welfare (RH&W) in collaboration with key veterinary and industry associations.
With cases increasing, the Chief Veterinary Officers (CVOs) from England, Wales and Scotland highlight the urgent need for farmers to speak to their vet and consider vaccinating their animals against Bluetongue. This video outlines the current situation, the risks to livestock health and productivity, and the steps farmers can take now to help protect their animals this season.
